Its never too early to think about the 2009-2010 WINTER FIELD HOCKEY season!!  We are looking forward to another fun and fantastic time during Saturdays in December and January!! Cost is 40.00 and that includes uniform shirt.

 If you are new to Winter field hockey, here is a brief overview of our program:

·        3 leagues: Beginner (ages 6-9), Intermediate (ages 10-13), Senior (ages 13-18)

·        Each league plays on Saturdays ONLY – no mid week practices

·        Beginner league plays from 10:30 until noon; Intermediates play 11:30 until 1pm; Senior league plays from 1 pm until 3 pm

·        Beginner and Intermediate league coaches are accomplished area high school players who typically split the time each week between instruction and round- robin play.  These two leagues are overseen by experienced adult commissioners.

·        Senior league is straight competitive play – round-robin style.  These teams are coached by adults, most of whom are active players or HS coaches themselves

·        All games are overseen by experienced referees who have ultimate authority over the pace of play and keeping safety of players as the main priority.

·        Sticks are available for loan each week.  Every player is responsible for wearing a mouthguard, shin guards, and cleats (recommended).
